Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use NOCTVM. By creating an account, you confirm you meet this age requirement. You must provide accurate information and not use the platform if you have been previously suspended. Some events have their own, higher age limits; those are set by the organiser and checked at the door.

2. Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity under your account. You must not share your account, impersonate others, or engage in fraudulent activity.

3. User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of content you post. By posting, you grant NOCTVM a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, and distribute your content within the platform. You confirm you have the rights to any content you upload.

4. Prohibited Conduct

• Illegal event listings or promotion of illegal activity
• Harassment, threats, bullying, or hate speech
• Impersonation or spam
• Posting non-consensual intimate content
• Scraping, bots, or fake engagement
• Any activity that violates applicable law

5. Moderation & Enforcement

NOCTVM may remove content, restrict features, or suspend accounts that violate these terms or our Community Guidelines. We provide reporting and blocking tools. If you believe a decision was made in error, you may appeal by contacting support@noctvm.app.

6. Events and Listings

NOCTVM lists events and venues so you can find them. The organiser or venue running an event is responsible for its listing, permits, safety, age restrictions, line-up changes and cancellations. Some listings are gathered from public sources and some link to other ticket sellers; when you buy through another site, that site's terms apply, not these. Users attend events at their own risk.

7. Tickets Bought on NOCTVM

Who sells the ticket. When you buy a ticket on NOCTVM, the ticket is sold by the venue or organiser running the event. They are the seller: your payment goes to them, and their name is what appears on your card statement. NOCTVM runs the ticketing service on their behalf. We take the order, issue your ticket, send it to you and check it at the door.

Price and service fee. The ticket price is set by the seller. NOCTVM adds a service fee for the ticketing service, shown separately at checkout before you pay. Payments are processed by Stripe; NOCTVM never sees or stores your card details.

Your ticket. Your ticket is delivered by email and kept in your account. Each ticket admits one person, once. Treat its QR code like cash: whoever shows it first gets in.

No 14-day withdrawal. Tickets for an event on a specific date are not covered by the 14-day right of withdrawal for distance purchases (Directive 2011/83/EU, art. 16(l), as transposed in Romania by OUG 34/2014).

Cancellations and refunds. If an event is cancelled, postponed or significantly changed, the seller is responsible for any refund, and refunds are paid back to the card you used. Contact the organiser, or write to support@noctvm.app and we will put you in touch. The NOCTVM service fee pays for the ticketing service already provided and is not refunded, including when an event is cancelled.

8. Moonrays

Moonrays are in-app points you earn by taking part in NOCTVM, and spend on in-app items such as profile customisation. They have no cash value. They are not money, electronic money or legal tender. They cannot be bought, sold, transferred to another account or exchanged for money, and they are not refunded. We may correct balances that result from errors or abuse, and we may change how Moonrays are earned and spent. Moonrays and anything bought with them end when your account is deleted.

9. Limitation of Liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, NOCTVM is not liable for user behaviour, third-party events, venue actions, or offline meetups. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by Romanian law. Any disputes shall be resolved by Romanian courts, subject to mandatory EU consumer protections.
