Community Guidelines

Last updated: 22 September 2026

NOCTVM is for finding a night out and sharing it. These rules apply to posts, stories, comments, profiles and event listings. They sit alongside our Terms of Service.

Not allowed

  • Harassment and threats. Targeting someone with abuse, threats, unwanted sexual comments or pile-ons, including about something that happened at an event. Posting someone's private details (phone, address, workplace).
  • Hate speech. Attacking people for their race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability or illness.
  • Violence. Threatening or celebrating violence, or showing graphic violence.
  • Nudity and sexual content. Sexual content, and any intimate image shared without the consent of the person in it.
  • Anything involving minors. NOCTVM is 16+. Any sexualised content involving a minor is removed, the account is banned, and we report it to the authorities.
  • Self-harm. Encouraging or glorifying suicide, self-harm or eating disorders. If you are struggling, in Romania you can call 0800 801 200 (free, 24/7), or 112 in an emergency.
  • Illegal activity. Selling or promoting drugs, weapons, fake or stolen tickets, or unlicensed events.
  • Impersonation. Pretending to be another person, artist, venue or organiser.
  • Spam and scams. Repetitive or misleading posts, fake engagement, and links to scams or phishing.
  • Misinformation that causes harm. False claims about an event, a venue or a person made to mislead, such as a fake cancellation or a fake line-up.

Filming people on a night out

Clubs are public-ish, not public. Don't post someone in a way meant to mock or expose them, and take a photo down if the person in it asks you to.

What happens when you report something

Use Report in the ⋯ menu on a post, story, comment or profile. Reports are private: the person you report is not told who reported them. A person at NOCTVM reviews each report, and we notify you when it has been decided.

If something breaks these rules, we remove it and tell the person who posted it. Serious or repeated breaches can lead to features being restricted or the account being suspended. Anything that puts someone in immediate danger should go to 112 first.

You can also block or mute anyone, from their profile, without reporting them.

Appeals

If we removed something of yours and you think we got it wrong, write to support@noctvm.app and tell us what was removed and why you think it was allowed. We look at it again and reply with the outcome.
