About

ALT Jazz’s final instalment of 2026 brings yet another showcase of modern jazz talent to the Berlin Room of Control Club on December 14th. Ill Considered are a cult force in London’s jazz underground, combining plaintive saxophone melodies with the intensity of collective improvisation. Their music can begin with a simple pre-written theme or be composed entirely on the spot, growing from near-whispers into monstrous climaxes as they respond to one another, the audience and the acoustics of the room. The project began in 2017 following sessions between drummer Emre Ramazanoglu, saxophonist Idris Rahman and bassist Leon Brichard. Their first recorded jam became their debut album, mixed and mastered within the same 24 hours. They continued recording both live and in the studio, pressing and distributing records through their own label. That independent approach earned them a devoted following and champions including Brian Eno and David Holmes. Their collaboration with artist Vincent de Boer extends the conversation beyond the instruments: his sleeve artwork responds directly to the music, giving their limited-run records a visual identity as distinctive as the performances inside. _ Tickets: 65 lei + booking fee - Presale85 lei + booking fee - General SaleOpen Doors: 19:30Show Time: 20:30 __ * Children up to 12 years old do not have access to the event.** Children up to 16 years old need a valid ticket and must be accompanied by a parent with a valid ticket.*** Minors aged 16 to 18 years old have access with a valid ticket.**** Serving and alcohol consumption are strictly forbidden for all minors.
