LIVE: Golan - V Album Release

Golan return to their full live band format this October after a four-year break, marking the release of their new album, “V”, with two shows in Bucharest. Each night will feature a different live set shaped around the venue’s musical identity. The two dates also open a national tour celebrating “V”, which brings together the band’s live instrumentation and the electronic sound they have explored in recent years through Golan Hybrid. The album will be available digitally and on vinyl. For the Bucharest launch, Golan have created two distinct ways to experience the new album, drawing on different sides of the city’s club culture: 23 October | Control: a set built around experimentation, alternative influences and immersive textures, reflecting the club’s eclectic programming. 24 October | Guesthouse: an extended, hypnotic set bringing live instrumentation into the club’s underground dance music setting. Conceived as a pair, the shows explore different sides of Golan’s music, with each set developed specifically for its venue. The story behind "V" After drawing more than 15,000 people to their Golan Symphonic productions and performing on major festival stages at Electric Castle and Summer Well, the band began exploring a new direction in 2022. Through Golan Hybrid, they turned their focus to the dance floor, developing their electronic sound through performances in Romania and internationally, including Spain, Italy and Tunisia. “V” brings these experiences together, reconnecting the band’s live instrumentation with the electronic approach they have developed over the past four years. The creative process, from the first studio sessions to preparations for the tour, has been filmed for an upcoming documentary offering a behind-the-scenes look at the album and the band’s return to the live format.
