About
Some of you were there for J.Bernardt’s sold-out 2024 nights at Control. On March 5, 2027, Jinte Deprez is coming back, with a new album to hear before then. The Balthazar co-frontman recorded Wild Swim in Los Angeles with where he collaborated with producer Paul Butler, known for his work with Michael Kiwanuka and Devendra Banhart and a top-tier live band featuring musicians associated with Adele and Alabama Shakes, often in single takes. With Four In The Morning he unveils his first new track since 2024. The song marks a new step in his journey, with a more defined artistic identity and a musical aesthetic that reflects his personality more than ever. The result is a track that retains J.Bernardt’s recognizable signature while sounding freer, bolder, and more spontaneous. Over the years, J.Bernardt has established himself as a dynamic force within the European alternative music scene, performing across major stages and international festivals. On “Four In The Morning,” drums and synths carry an image Deprez had in mind: a dancer wandering through LA at 4 a.m. in his finest suit. He says it isn’t the kind of song he would normally write. We’re curious to hear where that impulse takes him onstage. Wild Swim comes out November 13. Tickets go on sale September 23.
